About LOCAL 1012
Local 1012 was formed on September 22, 1967 under what was then AFSCME Council 70 which became Council 94.
Local 1012’s office is
located in the Public Works Center, 250 Armistice Blvd. Pawtucket Rhode
Island 02860. Tel. 401-728-0500 Ext. 229. Fax. 401-722-0874.
Today, Local 1012 has grown
to 300 members proudly serving the citizens of the City of Pawtucket in
the following departments: Building and Maintenance,
City Hall, Crossing Guards, Garage, Highway, Ice Rink, Library,
Parks and Recreation, Police Civilians, Sanitation / Sewers, Traffic,
Water, and
Water T & D.
Union Meetings are held monthly (excepting July and August) on the second Thursday of the month, at 5:00 pm sharp, in Ames Hall at Council 94 Headquarters 1179 Charles Street, North Providence Rhode Island
